First opening its doors in 1991, the original Indo-Fiji Supermarket (IFS) was located near 33rd Ave and Victoria Drive in Vancouver, BC. The store focused on carrying a variety of Indian and Fijian goods, personalized customer service and low prices. As word grew, business began to pick up.
Five years later, in 1996, a second location was opened in the Khalsa Business Center in Surrey, BC. The business expanded to a third location in 2001, with a new IFS opening on the corner of 6th St and 14th Ave in Burnaby, BC.
Today, over 30 years since our doors first opened, Indo-Fiji Supermarket remains a locally owned family business with our flagship store in Surrey, B.C. With quality management, complimented by our professional and passionate staff, we provide a carefully curated mix of Fijian, Indian and Canadian products to our loyal and growing customer base.
